As I have made posts for the women; my men friends have told me that they, too have been injured by being valued for only how much money they make, or for not being allowed to love and nurture their family. Makes perfect sense. It took my husband and I many, many years to to come together about this. I used to tell him I would be dead for 2 weeks before he even noticed.
